Beecher
Beecher was born and lived in America for sixty years before moving to the UK. He now has dual citizenship and lives in the rural county of Herefordshire. His current paintings are generally non-figurative and use colour, form and texture to evoke an emotional response from the viewer. His work is often exhibited in London and can be found in collections around the world.
“My art is rooted in abstract expressionism and as such I paint from the subconscious. Each painting is a cathartic journey exploring the cycle of an emotion, concept, or thought as it moves from negative to positive. ie sadness to happiness, despair to hope, death to rebirth.”
